Cube flipped up.
I tried to figure out how to get a decent sized cube for all these projects featured in numerous craft publications that appear to be cube garlands and table decor only to find out that the picture is a little deceiving.....they are very, very small. Starting from a grid of 9 4" squares scored on 12x12 textured cardstock, I was able to make a 5-sided perfect 4" cube. Adding a strip of 8-1/2x11 cs scored at 4" and 8" allowed the cube to fully close. I cut and rearranged to get textured pink cardstock on all sides and reinforced sides on 5 sides. There is an equally confusing explanation, but better pics on my blog: http://www.hangnailznpapercutz.blogspot.com/
